I'm a software developer and Master of IT student at UWA, with a Computer Science background and a few years building full-stack applications behind me.
Most of my work runs across the whole stack — JavaScript, HTML and CSS on the front end, Python and FastAPI on the back, SQL underneath, with REST APIs holding it together. I've also built Power BI dashboards for teams who needed to read their data, not fight it.
I started as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant in India before moving to Perth for my Masters, and I'm now Tech Lead for the UWA AI Club, running the hands-on technical projects.
The part I like most is the problem-solving — working out why something's broken and making sure it stays fixed. Wrapping up my degree now, and I can start straight away.
I build the whole thing: interface, backend, database, and the APIs between them. Comfortable anywhere in the stack.
Most of what I enjoy is tracking down why something fails and making the fix stick. Debugging is the fun part, not the chore.
Years on the Telstra retail floor taught me how non-technical people actually experience software — what trips them up, and how to say it plainly when someone's frustrated.
